The Marseille Collection is Medieval Floors’ core 8mm SPC line and its most versatile — fourteen colors, the widest palette in the brand. Each plank is built on an 8mm rigid stone-composite core that is 100% waterproof, topped with a 20 mil wear layer and carries an attached 1.5mm IXPE acoustic pad so it installs quietly without a separate underlayment. The 9″ × 60″ planks lock together with a glueless UNILIN click for a floating install, and the line is GREENGUARD Gold and FloorScore certified with a Limited Lifetime Residential warranty. Choosing a color from the Marseille Collection

Let the room’s light lead. In a bright, north-facing, or smaller space, the light greys and beiges keep things open and airy; in a larger or well-lit room, the warmer browns, the blonde, and the rustic multi-tones add depth and hide fine dust between cleanings. Frequently asked questions about the Marseille Collection

Is the Marseille Collection safe for bathrooms?
Yes. The 8mm SPC core is 100% waterproof, so Marseille is well suited to full bathrooms, powder rooms, laundry rooms, and kitchens. Wipe standing water up as you would on any floor, but spills and humidity will not damage the plank.
Can Marseille go over radiant heat?
Yes. It installs over radiant-heated subfloors with the heating elements at least 1/2″ below the flooring and a maximum subfloor surface temperature of 85°F. Bring the system up to temperature gradually per the manufacturer’s schedule.
Do I need to add underlayment?
No — and you should not. Each plank has an attached 1.5mm IXPE acoustic pad, and adding a second underlayment beneath the SPC can compromise the locking joints and void the warranty. Install directly over a clean, flat, dry subfloor.
Can I install it myself?
Many DIYers can. Marseille floats over the subfloor with a glueless UNILIN angle-lock click — no nails or adhesive. Keep a 5/16″ (8.2mm) expansion gap around the perimeter and stagger end joints at least 8″ from row to row.
