Quick Answer
What is Libourne?
Libourne is a rigid, wood-look SPC floor in a soft light beige shade, with a thick, high-traffic wear layer for a simple, carefree finish.
Is it waterproof?
Yes — 100% waterproof. Unlike engineered hardwood or laminate, surface spills don't soak in, and the rigid core won't cup or buckle. Wipe up spills and pet accidents promptly and don't leave standing water. Not approved for outdoor installation.
How durable is it, and what traffic can it take?
Libourne is protected by a 20 mil wear layer — equivalent to 0.50 mm — made for heavy residential use and many light-commercial applications, giving you excellent protection against everyday scratches, scuffs, and abrasion. A common step-up point where the extra thickness starts to matter.
Will it hold up to daily life?
What 20 mil typically means in real homes: many years of moderate residential use without visible wear-through. Libourne in heavy-traffic zones (kitchen, entry) works hardest and shows the first signs soonest; quieter rooms like bedrooms keep their look longest.
What does the plank surface look like?
Up close, Libourne's surface is calm and orderly. The grain runs tight and mostly straight down each board, with a very quiet figure and only subtle flowing lines rather than big sweeping arches. A couple of boards carry a faint mineral accent, and there are no knots to interrupt the rhythm, so the look stays consistent board to board. The printed wood-look texture is fine and understated, the kind of restrained grain that keeps a large floor reading tidy instead of loud.
Quiet enough upstairs or in a condo?
There's no separate underlayment to buy and no pad to choose. Libourne's factory-attached 1.5mm IXPE anti-microbial acoustic pad comes bonded to every plank and dampens footfall noise throughout the home — one less material decision and one less install step.
Will this color work in my room?
Under the soft afternoon daylight this room draws from its windows, Libourne's sandy beige warms slightly and reads relaxed rather than bright-white. The undertone leans warm-neutral instead of yellow, so it keeps that easy tone from midday into lower evening light without tipping orange or going flat. In a darker or north-facing room it shifts toward a soft greige, which still suits the color; where daylight is strong, it lifts to a clean sand. It sits naturally with warm creams, rattan and cane, off-white walls, and soft greens, and it gives black or charcoal accents a warm floor to stand against.

Overview
Libourne carries a sandy warmth through a soft light beige, close enough to raw linen that it never reads stark or cold. The grain stays quiet, running as tight, mostly straight lines with only a faint mineral fleck on a board here and there, so the surface looks smooth and even rather than busy. In its photographed setting, a japandi living room, that restraint does real work: Libourne gives a curved cream sofa, a rattan lounge chair, and a corner tree a shared, unhurried ground without competing with any of them. Underfoot it is a printed wood-look layer over a rigid SPC stone core, so the easy look comes on a floor that takes daily traffic, pets, and the occasional spill in stride.
Soft sandy beige with a near-still grain, a serene base that lets rattan, linen, and greenery lead.
