Is it waterproof?
Yes — 100% waterproof. Valencian handles pet accidents, water-bowl spills, and tracked-in mud wiped up promptly without swelling. Clean up standing water quickly. Not approved for outdoor installation.
How durable is it, and what traffic can it take?
This floor has a 20 mil wear layer — that's approximately 0.50 mm — appropriate for heavy residential use and many light-commercial applications, offering excellent protection against everyday scratches, scuffs, and abrasion. Noticeably thicker than the everyday layers below it.
Will it hold up to daily life?
Valencian's 20 mil wear layer and finish resist scratching and scuffing over years of use. It wipes clean with a vinyl-safe cleaner and a damp mop, and keeps the printed grain reading consistent across the floor.
What does the plank surface look like?
Up close the plank surface is a printed wood-look with fine, straight grain lines running the full length of the board. Every so often a cathedral arch loops across a few boards, so the pattern carries quiet movement rather than a dead-straight repeat.
