Insignia 20MIL — 8mm Waterproof WPC (Paradigm Flooring)
Insignia is Paradigm’s warmer, quieter WPC collection. Each plank builds a 7mm extruded wood-plastic composite core with a 1mm IXPE pad (8mm total), a 20-mil wear layer, and an RTS scratch-resistant coating over a Pillowed Pressed Bevel edge. The 9″ × 60″ boards lock with a Unilin Uniclic angle system, and the whole line is FloorScore certified, 100% waterproof, and backed by a Pet Stain warranty. Insignia carries 39 colors that lean warm and grounded — available to order through our Santa Clara showroom.

Colors in the Insignia 20MIL
Insignia is the brand’s warm, grounded palette. It’s led by medium and dark browns and rustic multi-tone character boards — planks with visible mineral streaking, pin knots, and cathedral graining that read as real, lived-in wood — and rounded out with a handful of dark and medium greys and two near-black ebony tones for high contrast. If you want a floor that feels cozy and substantial rather than pale and airy, this is the collection to browse.
Best uses for Insignia 20MIL
- Living rooms & bedrooms — a WPC core is slightly warmer and quieter underfoot than SPC.
- Kitchens & bathrooms — the 100% waterproof core handles spills and mopping.
- Homes with pets — the built-in Pet Stain warranty covers dog and cat accidents.
- Basements & below-grade rooms — rated for below-grade floating installation.
- Cozy, low-light spaces — the warm browns and darks feel rich where a pale floor would look flat.
Choosing a color from the Insignia 20MIL
Insignia’s browns and darks add warmth and hide everyday dust and pet hair well, but a very dark or near-black floor shows footprints and lint more in a bright room — so in a sunlit space, a medium brown or rustic multi-tone is often the easier live-with, while a dim or cozy room can carry the deepest tones beautifully. Match warm browns to wood or cream cabinetry and the greys to cooler, contemporary palettes. See a sample under your own light at our Santa Clara showroom before deciding.
