Insignia is Paradigm’s warmer, quieter WPC collection. Each plank builds a 7mm extruded wood-plastic composite core with a 1mm IXPE pad (8mm total), a 20-mil wear layer, and an RTS scratch-resistant coating over a Pillowed Pressed Bevel edge. The 9″ × 60″ boards lock with a Unilin Uniclic angle system, and the whole line is FloorScore certified, 100% waterproof, and backed by a Pet Stain warranty. What’s the difference between Insignia (WPC) and Conquest (SPC)?

Insignia uses a WPC (wood-plastic composite) core, which feels slightly warmer, softer, and quieter underfoot; Conquest uses a denser SPC (stone polymer) core that is harder and more dent-resistant. Both are 8mm, 20-mil, 100% waterproof floating floors — the choice comes down to underfoot feel versus maximum hardness.

Is Insignia good for homes with pets?

Yes. Insignia carries a Pet Stain warranty covering dog and cat accidents (urine, feces, vomit), and the 20-mil wear layer with its scratch-resistant coating stands up to claws and daily traffic. Its warm, busy grain also hides pet hair between cleanings.

Can Insignia go in a bathroom or basement?

Yes to both. The core is 100% waterproof and warranted against water damage under normal use, and the floor is rated for below-grade floating installation, so bathrooms, laundry rooms, and finished basements are all suitable.
