Sandalwood is a wood-look WPC floor built around a warm honey brown color, with a durable, heavy-traffic wear layer for a low-maintenance, practical finish.

Is it waterproof?

Yes — 100% waterproof. Day-to-day life — a dropped glass, a pet bowl, a tracked-in puddle — wipes up without swelling or delamination when cleaned promptly; standing water should not be left to sit. Outdoor use is not approved.

How durable is it, and what traffic can it take?

This floor has a 20 mil wear layer — measuring about 0.51 mm — made for heavy residential use and many light-commercial applications, with excellent protection against everyday scratches, scuffs, and abrasion. It's a step up from the standard-duty wear layers in everyday durability.

How do I clean and maintain it?

Safe cleaners for Sandalwood's 20 mil wear layer: vinyl-safe cleaners, damp microfiber mops, vacuum on hard-floor setting. The finish rules out abrasive scrubbers, bleach, ammonia, and solvent-based cleaners — these dull the wear layer permanently.

What does the plank surface look like?

Up close the Sandalwood plank shows fine, even grain lines and a quiet figure, with only sparse pin knots and soft ray flecks scattered across the surface. The printed surface keeps the board-to-board change gentle, so the overall read is refined and uniform rather than rugged.

There's no separate underlayment to buy and no pad to choose. Sandalwood's factory-attached 1mm IXPE acoustic pad comes bonded to every plank and dampens footfall noise throughout the home — one less material decision and one less install step.
