Quick Answer

What is Guava?

Guava is a rigid, wood-look WPC floor built around an amber honey color, with a thick, high-traffic wear layer for a simple, carefree finish.

Is it waterproof?

Yes — 100% waterproof. A splash at the sink or a dropped glass wipes up without harming Guava when cleaned promptly; don't leave water standing. Indoor use only — outdoor installation is not approved.

How durable is it, and what traffic can it take?

Guava comes with a 20 mil wear layer — approximately 0.51 mm — intended for heavy residential use and many light-commercial applications, giving you excellent protection against everyday scratches, scuffs, and abrasion. It runs noticeably thicker than the entry-level wear layers.

Will it hold up to daily life?

Guava has a 20 mil protective layer — thicker than the thin wear layers on entry-level LVT. That's the physical protective film above the print, sealed by finish.

What does the plank surface look like?

The Guava plank is clean and elegant up close: tight, mostly straight grain runs the length of the board with gentle flowing figure and faint fissure lines. Pin knots are sparse and small, and the board-to-board color is notably even. This is a notably consistent, orderly surface, warm and refined rather than rustic.

Quiet enough upstairs or in a condo?

The 1mm IXPE acoustic layer damps the hollow "click" sound characteristic of floating floors. Guava is quieter underfoot than LVT with a loose pad — both for the walker and for rooms below in multi-story homes.

Is it safe for indoor air?

Yes — Guava carries FloorScore certification, independently tested for low chemical emissions. That matters most for households with allergies, asthma, or young children.

Will this color work in my room?

In the bright daylight of a windowed dining room Guava is luminous; the amber and caramel come fully forward, giving the floor a warm, honeyed glow that lifts the whole room. It flatters warm and cool schemes alike, making dusty rose feel richer and giving cool slate-teal a warm counterweight. Even in softer evening light Guava keeps its honeyed warmth rather than dimming to plain brown.

Overview

Guava is a notably warm, honeyed brown, a rich amber with real caramel depth that glows rather than recedes. Where many of its siblings are busy, Guava is calm: tight straight grain flows quietly down each board with even board-to-board consistency and only sparse pin knots. That clean, warm surface suits a formal dining room, where a settled floor lets a set table and good company lead. Wide planks lay down smooth and consistent under bright daylight, and the amber warmth flatters both cool teal and dusty rose. Its wood-look surface covers a waterproof rigid core, so a dropped glass at dinner is nothing to worry about.

Honeyed amber with caramel depth and clean, quiet grain, a warm and elegant floor for the dining room.

Frequently asked questions

What does it look like installed in a real room?
As photographed, Guava floors a transitional dining room set with a dining table and tufted chairs, a slate-teal sideboard, and a framed black-and-white photo against dusty-rose walls. Sheer drapery lets bright daylight fill the space. The honeyed-amber floor is the room's warm heart, tying the cool teal and soft rose together and giving the formal setting a welcoming glow that a cooler floor would miss.
Will it match my cabinets?
Guava is a striking partner for painted cabinetry; against slate-teal or deep green units the honeyed-amber floor supplies warmth and contrast, so the color above reads richer. It is just as easy beneath white or cream, where its warmth keeps the room from feeling cold. The quiet grain means bold cabinet colors have all the room they need to lead.
How does this color read in a windowless basement?
Guava brings warmth to a basement like few browns can. Its amber-honey depth stays luminous under warm bulbs, keeping a lower level bright and inviting, and its clean grain reads evenly even in flat light. Cooler light tempers the amber toward a mellow caramel. It is an easy way to keep an underground room from feeling dim or cold.
