Super SPC Collection (10mm) — 10mm Waterproof SPC (Medieval Floors)

The Super SPC Collection (10mm) is Medieval Floors’ upgraded waterproof line — a thicker, quieter, more protective floor than the standard 8mm. Each plank pairs a 10mm rigid stone-composite core with a heavy 30 mil wear layer and an attached 2mm IXPE acoustic pad, so it feels solid and hushed underfoot and needs no separate underlayment. The 9″ × 60″ planks use a glueless UNILIN click for a floating install, the core is 100% waterproof, and the line is GREENGUARD Gold and FloorScore certified with a Limited Lifetime Residential warranty. Its seven colors are available to order through our Santa Clara showroom.

Colors in the Super SPC Collection (10mm)

This collection leans warm and natural. Most of the seven colors are warm, wood-look light-brown tones that read like real wood and suit a wide range of cabinetry, with a soft whitewash for a brighter, coastal feel and a medium grey for a cooler, more contemporary look. It is a focused palette meant to give you a warm wood appearance with the toughness of a thick SPC floor.

Best uses for the Super SPC Collection (10mm)

  • High-traffic living areas — the 30 mil wear layer is built for years of heavy foot traffic.
  • Kitchens & mudrooms — 100% waterproof and easy to wipe clean where water and grit collect.
  • Basements — the 10mm rigid core stays flat and stable over concrete.
  • Homes with pets & kids — a thick, scratch-resistant surface handles claws, toys, and dropped dishes.
  • Light commercial spaces — offices, boutiques, and waiting rooms within the 10-year commercial warranty.
  • Quiet-floor priorities — the 2mm acoustic pad softens sound underfoot in upstairs and open rooms.

Choosing a color from the Super SPC Collection (10mm)

Because the palette is warm and wood-like, most buyers match it to their cabinetry: a lighter brown keeps a kitchen or living room airy, while a deeper brown adds warmth and hides crumbs and dust between cleanings. Reach for the whitewash if you want a bright, beachy room and the grey if your fixtures and furnishings lean cool and modern. See the plank in person at our Santa Clara showroom before deciding — warm browns in particular shift noticeably under different lighting.

Frequently asked questions about the Super SPC Collection (10mm)

How is the 10mm different from the 8mm Marseille line?
The Super SPC 10mm is thicker (10mm vs 8mm), has a heavier 30 mil wear layer (vs 20 mil), and a thicker 2mm acoustic pad, so it feels more solid and quieter and resists wear better. Marseille offers a wider color range — 14 colors versus 7.
Is it waterproof enough for a bathroom?
Yes. The 10mm SPC core is 100% waterproof and suitable for full baths, laundry rooms, and kitchens. It will not swell or delaminate from spills or humidity.
Can it go over radiant heat?
Yes, with the heating elements at least 1/2″ below the flooring and a maximum subfloor surface temperature of 85°F. Raise the temperature gradually over about a week per the manufacturer’s schedule.
Is it a floating floor I can install myself?
Yes. It floats with a glueless UNILIN click — no nails or glue. Keep a 5/16″ (8.2mm) expansion gap around the perimeter, stagger end joints at least 8″, and do not add any underlayment beneath the planks.
How do I get a sample?
All seven colors are available to order through our Santa Clara showroom, where we can pull samples and confirm the current dye lot before your order ships.
