What is Talence?

Talence is a rigid, wood-look SPC floor in a warm beige shade, with a heavy-duty, high-traffic wear layer for a simple, carefree finish.

Is it waterproof?

Yes — 100% waterproof. Powder-room splashes, daily wet feet, and towel drops wipe up without harm when cleaned promptly. Indoor use only — not for installation inside showers or wet rooms, and outdoor installation is not approved.

How durable is it, and what traffic can it take?

Talence comes with a 30 mil wear layer — roughly 0.76 mm thick — appropriate for heavy residential use and many commercial applications, giving you exceptional protection against scratches, scuffs, and everyday wear. The extra thickness gives it more long-term wear capacity than thinner layers.

Will it hold up to daily life?

Kitchen stress test: dropped cutlery, pans slid from oven to counter, refrigerator casters, and dishwasher spray — Talence's 30 mil wear layer and finish handle the spills, dropped pots, and dragged stools of daily kitchen use, and wipe clean with a vinyl-safe cleaner.

What does the plank surface look like?

Up close, each Talence plank shows straight grain with fine, close-set lines and a soft cathedral figure arcing through the center. Short character fissures and faint mineral flecks add a little movement, and an occasional pin knot keeps the surface from looking flat. It is subtle, tailored character rather than heavy rustic knotting.

Quiet enough upstairs or in a condo?

There's no separate underlayment to buy and no pad to choose. Talence's factory-attached 2mm IXPE anti-microbial acoustic pad comes bonded to every plank and dampens footfall noise throughout the home — one less material decision and one less install step.

Will this color work in my room?

How Talence reads depends a lot on your light. In a bright, window-filled room like the one it was photographed in, midday sun lifts the blush undertone and the beige looks fresh and airy. In a north-facing or lower-light room the same floor deepens to a softer, creamier warmth. Because Talence is so pale, it keeps shaded and smaller rooms feeling open rather than closed in.
