What is Baja Sahara?

Baja Sahara is a real-wood engineered hardwood floor built around a warm mid-tan beige color, with a refined, mostly uniform grain and minimal knots for a calm, polished finish.

Is it waterproof?

No engineered hardwood is truly waterproof. The core resists moisture-driven movement better than solid timber, so it suits basements and concrete slabs, but the real-wood veneer still needs spills addressed and prolonged standing water avoided.

Can it be refinished?

The veneer is what decides it — that thin layer of real wood is all a sander has to work with. At 4mm, Baja Sahara can usually take two or three professional refinishes.

What does the plank surface look like?

Each Baja Sahara plank shows a straight, restrained grain with long, quiet grain lines. Character marks are minimal and figure variation is gentle, so the boards read even and calm. There are few knots, which keeps the surface clean and uniform.
