What is Natural Summery?
Natural Summery is a real-wood engineered hardwood floor built around a warm honey gold color, with visible knots and a natural, lived-in character for a rich, inviting look.
Is it waterproof?
Engineered wood is not waterproof. Its layered core makes it far more stable than solid hardwood in humid or below-grade spaces, yet the wood surface can still be harmed by standing water, so treat it as water-resistant and clean spills quickly.
Can it be refinished?
Two different things: the finish can be refreshed with a light recoat no matter how much veneer is left, while a full sanding is limited by the real wood on top. With a 4mm veneer, this floor can usually take two or three professional refinishes.
What does the plank surface look like?
Each Natural Summery plank shows a soft, flowing cathedral figure with long boards and gentle grain movement. A few small knots and fine mineral specks are scattered through the surface, which adds a touch of character without making the floor look rough or rustic. As a real-wood veneer, that gentle figure varies naturally across the whole floor.
Will this color work in my room?
Because Natural Summery is so warm and golden, light brings out its best. In the bright, even daylight of the room we photographed, it glows honey-gold and looks genuinely cheerful; in a cooler or lower-light room it reads a little more subdued and wheat-toned but keeps its warmth. It is an easy colour to pair: cool accents like powder blue or sage make the gold look richer, while whites keep the room feeling fresh.

Natural Summery is a warm honey-gold blonde with a soft, wheat-toned glow, one of the warmer, more golden shades in the range. Its wide boards have a gentle, flowing cathedral figure with a scattering of fine character marks and small mineral specks, so there is quiet movement across the floor without anything busy. We shot Natural Summery in a bright Scandinavian sitting area with a pair of powder-blue wingback chairs and a cluster of potted plants, and the pairing is easy to see: the golden floor and the cool blue seating warm and cool each other, while the greenery reads crisp against the honeyed boards. It is an engineered hardwood floor, and the flowing grain of the real veneer varies naturally plank to plank. It suits sitting rooms, reading nooks, and cheerful everyday spaces where you want a floor with a little sunshine in it.
