Is it waterproof?
Yes — 100% waterproof. Stable against concrete-slab humidity and seasonal moisture variation, so Coyote Brush suits below-grade rooms once the slab passes a moisture test; clean up standing water promptly. Not approved for outdoor installation.
How durable is it, and what traffic can it take?
The surface is topped by a 20 mil wear layer — that's approximately 0.51 mm — intended for heavy residential use and many light-commercial applications, delivering excellent protection against everyday scratches, scuffs, and abrasion. It runs noticeably thicker than the entry-level wear layers.
Will it hold up to daily life?
At 20 mil, Coyote Brush's wear layer sits on the thicker end for residential flooring, which is why it stands up well to heavy day-to-day use. The 6mm construction gives it a solid, stable feel underfoot in busy rooms.

Up close the Coyote Brush surface shows open cathedral grain packed with dense swirling figure and tight compact ovals, so no stretch of plank repeats the one beside it. It is a busy, characterful grain that hides everyday scuffs and foot traffic well.
Quiet enough upstairs or in a condo?
The 1.5mm Bio Guard anti-bacterial EVA acoustic layer damps the hollow "click" sound characteristic of floating floors. Coyote Brush is quieter underfoot than LVT with a loose pad — both for the walker and for rooms below in multi-story homes.
