Williamson Oak is a waterproof, wood-look WPC floor in a deep espresso-brown shade, with a durable, heavy-traffic wear layer for a simple, carefree finish.

Is it waterproof?

Yes — 100% waterproof. The rigid core stands up to everyday surface water — spills, mop water, pet accidents — without swelling or delaminating when wiped up promptly. It won't substitute for fixing a standing leak; dry the floor and the source quickly. Not approved for outdoor installation; keep the subfloor dry before and during install.

How durable is it, and what traffic can it take?

The flooring uses a 20 mil wear layer — equivalent to 0.51 mm — made for heavy residential use and many light-commercial applications, so you get excellent protection against everyday scratches, scuffs, and abrasion. It sits at the thicker, harder-wearing end of the range.

Will it hold up to daily life?

Minor scratches on Williamson Oak stay low-visibility — faint surface marks rather than the bright white scuff lines a glossy floor shows. The 20 mil wear layer hides minor wear within the printed grain pattern — low visibility, not just high durability.

What does the plank surface look like?

Up close, Williamson Oak is all movement: tall cathedral arches loop down the middle of each board, framed by the long, sweeping lines of the surrounding figure. Gentle streaking runs board to board, and a sparse scatter of small knots and marks breaks up the pattern so no two planks look stamped from the same die. The pattern is printed over a wood-plastic composite core, so that bold arching figure comes through crisply and stays put, with no sanding or sealing to keep up.

Quiet enough upstairs or in a condo?

The attached acoustic layer damps the hollow "click" sound characteristic of floating floors. Williamson Oak is quieter underfoot than LVT with a loose pad — both for the walker and for rooms below in multi-story homes.

Is it safe for indoor air?

Yes — Williamson Oak carries GREENGUARD Gold certification, independently tested for low chemical emissions. That matters most for households with allergies, asthma, or young children.
