What is Washed Pine?

Washed Pine is a rigid, wood-look WPC floor in a pale whitewashed greige tone, with a thick, high-traffic wear layer for a durable, easy-care finish.

Is it waterproof?

Yes — 100% waterproof. Everyday spills, pet accidents, and mop water won't swell, warp, or delaminate the planks when wiped up promptly; standing water should still be cleaned up quickly. Not approved for outdoor installation; test the subfloor for moisture before installing.

How durable is it, and what traffic can it take?

Every plank is finished with a 22 mil wear layer — roughly 0.56 mm thick — suited to heavy residential use and many light-commercial applications, with excellent long-term durability. It's a step up from the standard-duty wear layers in everyday durability.

Will it hold up to daily life?

Washed Pine's 22 mil wear layer and finish are rated for pet claws, chair legs, dragged furniture, and heavy daily traffic — the scratch resistance that matters in kitchens, entryways, and pet households where foot and paw traffic concentrates.

What does the plank surface look like?

Up close, the plank surface is all about straight grain: deep linear striations run end to end in fine parallel lines, giving Washed Pine a combed, weathered look. Scattered through them are small oval knots and knot-holes with dark centers, spaced moderately so each plank shows a few points of character without turning busy. Around the knots sit short weathered marks that read like sun-bleached, brushed boards. Because the surface is printed, the pattern stays crisp and the knot-holes never open up or need filling the way an actual board would.

Quiet enough upstairs or in a condo?

There's no separate underlayment to buy and no pad to choose. Washed Pine's factory-attached acoustic pad comes bonded to every plank and dampens footfall noise throughout the home — one less material decision and one less install step.

Is it safe for indoor air?

Yes — Washed Pine carries GREENGUARD Gold certification, independently tested for low chemical emissions. That matters most for households with allergies, asthma, or young children.

Will this color work in my room?

Under the bright midday daylight coming through the window, Washed Pine lifts to a clean, pale read, going almost white in full sun and reading as a soft grey in the corners the light does not reach. Because the tone is neutral, it keeps its color through the day instead of turning yellow or blue, which makes it easy to pair with soft grey walls, crisp white trim, or other pale naturals. In a darker, north-facing room Washed Pine would deepen a shade toward a cool stone, still light but with more grey in it.
