What is Aurora Oak?

Aurora Oak is a rigid, wood-look WPC floor built around a warm beige color, with a thick, high-traffic wear layer for a low-maintenance, practical finish.

Is it waterproof?

Yes — 100% waterproof. Built for daily life: mop-and-go cleaning, occasional spills, and pet accidents wiped up promptly; clean standing water quickly. Indoor use only — outdoor installation is not approved.

How durable is it, and what traffic can it take?

The plank features a 20 mil wear layer — which works out to 0.51 mm — suited to heavy residential use and many light-commercial applications, offering excellent protection against everyday scratches, scuffs, and abrasion. It's a step up from the standard-duty wear layers in everyday durability.

Will it hold up to daily life?

Office chair wheels, spike-heel point loads, and dragged furniture all concentrate force. Aurora Oak's 20 mil wear layer plus 8mm rigid WPC core manages this better than laminate — WPC resists crush-indent where laminate high-density fiberboard would dent permanently.

What does the plank surface look like?

Up close, the boards show a tight, straight grain with a subtle flowing figure and long, fine streaks running their length. The mineral streaking traces the grain lines, and occasional pin knots appear here and there — small and scattered rather than heavy, so the surface stays clean and even. Figure shifts gently from one board to the next, enough to look natural without any single plank standing out. Aurora Oak is a printed pattern over a rigid WPC core, so the look reads crisp and consistent underfoot.

Quiet enough upstairs or in a condo?

The attached acoustic layer damps the hollow "click" sound characteristic of floating floors. Aurora Oak is quieter underfoot than LVT with a loose pad — both for the walker and for rooms below in multi-story homes.

Is it safe for indoor air?

Yes — Aurora Oak carries GREENGUARD Gold certification, independently tested for low chemical emissions. That matters most for households with allergies, asthma, or young children.

Will this color work in my room?

Under the even afternoon daylight of a window-lit room, Aurora Oak reads as a gentle, sandy beige — warm without turning stark.
