Quick Answer

What is Tolima Pine?

Tolima Pine is a rigid, wood-look WPC floor built around a light warm beige washed color, with a durable, heavy-traffic wear layer for a low-maintenance, practical finish.

Is it waterproof?

Yes — 100% waterproof. Stable against concrete-slab humidity and seasonal moisture variation, so Tolima Pine suits below-grade rooms once the slab passes a moisture test; clean up standing water promptly. Not approved for outdoor installation.

How durable is it, and what traffic can it take?

Every plank is finished with a 20 mil wear layer — equivalent to 0.51 mm — suited to heavy residential use and many light-commercial applications, giving you excellent protection against everyday scratches, scuffs, and abrasion. It sits at the thicker, harder-wearing end of the range.

Will it hold up to daily life?

At 20 mil, Tolima Pine's wear layer sits on the thicker end for residential flooring, which is why it stands up well to heavy day-to-day use. The 8mm construction gives it a solid, stable feel underfoot in busy rooms.

What does the plank surface look like?

Up close, the surface of Tolima Pine is built around its knots: medium, dark-centered knots appear at a moderate spacing, and around each one the grain forms concentric rings that circle outward with fine splits radiating from the core. Between the knots the grain runs mostly straight and fine, so the boards carry visible character without looking busy. Because the knots repeat naturally across the planks, the surface reads as hand-picked rather than a flat, uniform print.

Quiet enough upstairs or in a condo?

The attached acoustic layer damps the hollow "click" sound characteristic of floating floors. Tolima Pine is quieter underfoot than LVT with a loose pad — both for the walker and for rooms below in multi-story homes.

Is it safe for indoor air?

Yes — Tolima Pine carries GREENGUARD Gold certification, independently tested for low chemical emissions. That matters most for households with allergies, asthma, or young children.

Will this color work in my room?

Under the bright midday daylight in this kitchen, Tolima Pine lifts — the blond wash comes forward and the beige stays clean rather than turning yellow. A window-lit room like this one keeps the tone airy and open; in a lower-light space the same floor would read a shade deeper and cozier. As a warm, very-light beige, Tolima Pine sits easily beside cool whites and black accents without competing with them, giving you a bright neutral base to build color on top of.

Overview

What sets Tolima Pine apart is its knotwork: rounded, dark-centered knots are scattered across the boards at an even, moderate spacing, each one ringed by circling figure. Between the knots the grain runs mostly straight and fine, so the boards read as quiet detail rather than busy pattern. The color itself is a pale warm beige carrying a soft blond wash, light enough to keep a room feeling open without going cold. In the kitchen we photographed, Tolima Pine runs wall to wall beneath crisp white lower cabinets, with a pale wood-tone waterfall island and black metal bar stools setting a Scandinavian-modern tone. Its WPC core is 100% waterproof against topical moisture, which suits the spills and everyday traffic a working kitchen sees.

Ringed knots give Tolima Pine quiet, natural pattern, while its pale blond-beige keeps a bright kitchen feeling open and clean.

Frequently asked questions

What does it look like installed in a real room?
Installed, Tolima Pine floors a bright Scandinavian-modern kitchen. The pale beige runs beneath a pale wood-tone waterfall island topped with black counter stools, while white lower cabinets frame the edges, so the floor becomes the warm element in an otherwise cool, minimal room. Everyday details sit on top — jars, a cutting board, and glassware along the counter — and the light floor keeps the open-plan space feeling clean and uncluttered. It is the kind of look minimalists furnishing a bright, working kitchen tend to be after.
Will it match my cabinets?
In the photographed kitchen, Tolima Pine sits under white lower cabinets, and the pairing is an easy one: the warm blond-beige keeps crisp white cabinetry from feeling cold, while the white lets Tolima Pine stay the warmest note in the room. The same logic holds beyond white — because it is a light, warm neutral, it works under pale wood-tone, soft gray, or black cabinets without clashing. Deep, dark cabinets read with more contrast against it, which can be the point if you want the floor to recede a little.
Will it still look this bright in a windowless basement?
In the photographed room Tolima Pine has plenty of window light, but it works in a windowless basement too. Being a light, warm beige, it keeps a low-light space from feeling closed in — darker floors tend to make a basement read smaller, while Tolima Pine reflects what light you do have and stays warm rather than going flat or gray. Pair it with good LED lighting and light walls and the floor will read close to how it looks upstairs, just a touch deeper.
