Spirit Oak is a waterproof, wood-look WPC floor in a cool whitewashed greige shade, with a heavy-duty, high-traffic wear layer for a low-maintenance, practical finish.

Is it waterproof?

Yes — 100% waterproof. A splash at the sink or a dropped glass wipes up without harming Spirit Oak when cleaned promptly; don't leave water standing. Indoor use only — outdoor installation is not approved.

How durable is it, and what traffic can it take?

The surface of Spirit Oak is finished with a 30 mil wear layer — which works out to 0.76 mm — ideal for heavy residential use and many commercial applications, so you get exceptional protection against scratches, scuffs, and everyday wear. It's among the thicker wear layers commonly found in WPC flooring.

Will it hold up to daily life?

Spirit Oak has a 30 mil protective layer — thicker than the thin wear layers on entry-level LVT. That's the physical protective film above the print, sealed by finish.

What does the plank surface look like?

Up close, the Spirit Oak plank is quiet. The grain runs mostly straight and fine, with soft lines threading the length of each board and only a gentle, looping figure rising in places. A few small pin knots dot the surface, dark specks against the pale greige rather than a busy character face. There is subtle variation from board to board, enough to keep the floor from looking flat, but the overall read is clean and even. This is a restrained, low-character surface, not a knotty or rustic one.

Quiet enough upstairs or in a condo?

The attached acoustic layer damps the hollow "click" sound characteristic of floating floors. Spirit Oak is quieter underfoot than LVT with a loose pad — both for the walker and for rooms below in multi-story homes.

Is it safe for indoor air?

Yes — Spirit Oak carries GREENGUARD Gold certification, independently tested for low chemical emissions. That matters most for households with allergies, asthma, or young children.

Will this color work in my room?

Spirit Oak reads coolest and cleanest in bright, natural daylight. In a kitchen with a window, the midday sun lifts the pale greige toward a crisp near-white, and the cool grey cast keeps it neutral instead of warm.
