Garonne is a genuine engineered hardwood floor in a warm blonde tone, with a natural hardwood grain for an authentic hardwood feel.
Is it waterproof?
No — engineered hardwood is real wood on top, so it's water-resistant at best, not waterproof. Garonne tolerates humidity and moisture-prone rooms better than solid wood thanks to its stable core, but standing water and spills should still be wiped up promptly.
Can it be refinished?
How many times it can be refinished comes down to the real-wood veneer on top. With its 4mm layer, this floor can usually take two or three professional refinishes.
What does the plank surface look like?
Close up, Garonne is smooth and flowing: long uninterrupted grain, open cathedral swirls, and only scattered pin knots and fine dark flecks for character. It is a cleaner, more even plank than the heavily knotted oaks, so the golden-beige field feels calm and continuous. The wire-brushed texture runs with the grain, adding a gentle relief without disturbing the easy flow.

Garonne is a warm blonde with golden-beige undertones, a touch deeper and more golden than a pale blonde oak, which gives a bedroom a settled, restful base.
