Quick Answer

What is Rozzano?

Rozzano is an engineered hardwood floor in a brown base shade, with a few small knots and gentle color variation for a rich, inviting look.

Is it waterproof?

Rozzano offers real-wood looks with more moisture tolerance than solid hardwood, yet it is not waterproof. Wipe spills promptly, keep indoor humidity in a normal range, and for genuinely wet rooms choose a floor built to be fully waterproof.

Can it be refinished?

Not every engineered floor is sandable — it comes down to how much real wood sits on top. Rozzano carries a 3mm veneer, and gives a flooring professional real room to work with when it eventually needs refinishing. Until then, a buff-and-recoat or a deep clean is usually all it takes — a deeper sand-down is there for later, once a professional has confirmed how much veneer remains.

What does the plank surface look like?

Up close, Rozzano shows an open, cathedral-arch grain that moves in long, quiet sweeps across each board rather than tight, busy figure. Character stays light — expect a single small knot on an occasional board and faint mineral streaking, not clusters of knots or heavy graining. The surface carries a soft-brushed texture, so the grain reads as a gentle relief underfoot rather than a flat, glassy sheen. Because it's a real oak veneer, no two boards are identical — the grain shifts naturally from plank to plank instead of repeating in a fixed pattern.

Will this color work in my room?

Rozzano's medium brown leans warm rather than gray, but it's muted — not the reddish, saturated brown some oak stains carry, and not so light it reads as a plain neutral tan either. That calm, warm-neutral cast is easy to build a room around: it doesn't demand a particular wall color or design style, and it keeps its warmth whether the room gets a lot of natural light or very little. In a kitchen, living room, or hallway that sees daily use, it sets a steady, comfortable backdrop rather than pulling focus.

Overview

Rozzano is built in European Oak, engineered with an eight-ply core. At 9-1/2 inches wide, each board shows an open, cathedral-arch grain that flows in quiet, sweeping lines -- enough natural marking to read as real, cut oak rather than a flat repeat. That calm grain and muted warm-brown tone make Rozzano an easy fit for a kitchen, hallway, or open living space with daily traffic, somewhere the floor should support the room rather than compete with it. Best suited to someone who wants the floor to recede into a busy room instead of drawing the eye — if you'd prefer a busier, more heavily figured floor, a bolder-grained board elsewhere in the collection is the one to look at instead.

Quiet, sweeping European Oak grain with just enough natural character to prove it's the real thing.

Frequently asked questions

Will it match my cabinets?
Rozzano's warm, muted brown pairs cleanly with cool cabinet tones — white, cream, or soft gray cabinetry creates real contrast against this floor rather than blending into it. It also works with warm wood-tone cabinetry, since the color sits in a similar warm-neutral family without being an exact match, so the two read as coordinated rather than competing. Avoid pairing it with a very dark espresso cabinet if you want strong contrast — the tones sit close enough in depth that they can visually merge; a lighter or cooler cabinet finish separates the two more clearly.
