What is Rincon?

Rincon is a rigid, wood-look WPC floor in a black shade, with a thick, high-traffic wear layer for a simple, carefree finish.

Is it waterproof?

Yes — 100% waterproof. Unlike engineered hardwood or laminate, surface spills don't soak in, and the rigid core won't cup or buckle. Wipe up spills and pet accidents promptly and don't leave standing water. Not approved for outdoor installation.

How durable is it, and what traffic can it take?

The construction includes a 20 mil wear layer — roughly 0.51 mm thick — a good match for heavy residential use and many light-commercial applications, so you get excellent protection against everyday scratches, scuffs, and abrasion. It sits at the thicker, harder-wearing end of the range.

Will it hold up to daily life?

What 20 mil typically means in real homes: many years of everyday household use without visible wear-through. Rincon in heavy-traffic zones (kitchen, entry) works hardest and shows the first signs soonest; quieter rooms like bedrooms keep their look longest.

What does the plank surface look like?

Up close, Rincon shows a rustic vertical grain running the length of each board, printed with weathered sawn marks that mimic rough-milled lumber. Small pin knots and faint nail-hole marks appear at a moderate density, so no two planks look identical and the run reads like salvaged boards instead of a repeating pattern. Dark grain streaking adds movement across the espresso field. It is a wood-look print over a rigid core, finished to stand up to daily traffic.

There's no separate underlayment to buy and no pad to choose. Rincon's factory-attached 1mm IXPE acoustic pad comes bonded to every plank and dampens footfall noise throughout the home — one less material decision and one less install step.
