What is Mocha?

Mocha is a rigid, wood-look SPC floor in a deep charcoal-flecked espresso brown shade, with a hard-wearing residential wear layer for a simple, carefree finish.

Is it waterproof?

Yes — 100% waterproof. Stable against concrete-slab humidity and seasonal moisture variation, so Mocha suits below-grade rooms once the slab passes a moisture test; clean up standing water promptly. Not approved for outdoor installation.

How durable is it, and what traffic can it take?

The plank features a 12 mil wear layer — that's approximately 0.30 mm — built for everyday residential use across the busy areas of most homes, with solid everyday scratch and scuff resistance. That's one of the most common wear-layer thicknesses.

Will it hold up to daily life?

At 12 mil, Mocha's wear layer sits on the thicker end for residential flooring, which is why it stands up well to heavy day-to-day use. The 5.3mm construction gives it a solid, stable feel underfoot in busy rooms.

What does the plank surface look like?

A Mocha plank shows tight straight grain in fine vertical lines, with broad cathedral figure rising smoothly through it and gentle board-to-board contrast. It is knot-free and calm, an especially clean surface, and the printed layer sits over a rigid stone core. Laid out, the boards read as long, continuous sweeps of dark espresso with a faint charcoal thread, elegant and unbroken across the room.

Quiet enough upstairs or in a condo?

The 1mm EVA acoustic layer damps the hollow "click" sound characteristic of floating floors. Mocha is quieter underfoot than LVT with a loose pad — both for the walker and for rooms below in multi-story homes.
