How durable is it, and what traffic can it take?
Strasbourg is protected by a 20 mil wear layer — that's approximately 0.50 mm — ideal for heavy residential use and many light-commercial applications, providing excellent protection against everyday scratches, scuffs, and abrasion. Noticeably thicker than the everyday layers below it.
Will it hold up to daily life?
Office chair wheels, spike-heel point loads, and dragged furniture all concentrate force. Strasbourg's 20 mil wear layer plus 6.5mm rigid SPC core manages this better than laminate — SPC resists crush-indent where laminate high-density fiberboard would dent permanently.

Its 7-inch boards are knot-free, with a straight grain and tight linear striping running board to board over a quiet cathedral figure.
