Toast is a rigid, wood-look SPC floor in an espresso-brown shade, with a resilient, home-grade wear layer for a durable, easy-care finish.

Is it waterproof?

Yes — 100% waterproof. Toast handles pet accidents, water-bowl spills, and tracked-in mud wiped up promptly without swelling. Clean up standing water quickly. Not approved for outdoor installation.

How durable is it, and what traffic can it take?

The surface of Toast is finished with a 12 mil wear layer — approximately 0.30 mm — ideal for everyday residential use across the busy areas of most homes, delivering solid everyday scratch and scuff resistance. It sits right in the mainstream of the range.

Will it hold up to daily life?

Toast's 12 mil wear layer and finish resist scratching and scuffing over years of use. It wipes clean with a vinyl-safe cleaner and a damp mop, and keeps the printed grain reading consistent across the floor.

What does the plank surface look like?

A Toast plank is full of character, built around a large open knot with a dark center and radiating cracks, framed by looping cathedral grain, scattered smaller knots, and mineral fissures along the board. This is a bold grain story, so no two boards look alike, and the printed surface sits over a rigid stone core. Laid out, the floor reads lively and hand-picked, with real movement from plank to plank.

Quiet enough upstairs or in a condo?

There's no separate underlayment to buy and no pad to choose. Toast's factory-attached 1mm EVA acoustic pad comes bonded to every plank and dampens footfall noise throughout the home — one less material decision and one less install step.

Is it safe for indoor air?

Yes — Toast carries FloorScore certification, independently tested for low chemical emissions. That matters most for households with allergies, asthma, or young children.

Will this color work in my room?

Under the warm lamplight and afternoon daylight of the photographed room, Toast's warm espresso-brown glows against taupe damask walls and dark wood-tone furniture, its slightly lighter tone bringing the knots and grain forward. Because it is warm rather than neutral, it reads rich and inviting instead of stark.
