SPC Technical Notes
Acclimation: Store boxes flat in the installation room for 48 hours at 65–85°F and 35–65% relative humidity before installing.
Subfloor: Flat to within 3/16 inch over 10 feet. Fill low spots and grind high points before installation.
Moisture barrier: A 6-mil polyethylene moisture barrier is required over concrete subfloors. Not required over wood subfloors that pass moisture testing.
Installation: Floating click installation. Leave 1/4-inch expansion gap at all walls and fixed objects. Do not glue or nail.
Maintenance: Sweep or dry-mop regularly. Clean with a damp mop and pH-neutral cleaner. Never use wax, polish, steam mops, or abrasive cleaners.

No separate underlayment is needed. Neacola has a 1.5mm IXPE anti-microbial acoustic underlayment already attached to the back of each plank. Simply float it over a prepared subfloor.
How long does Neacola last?
Neacola is backed by a lifetime residential warranty. With normal use and proper maintenance, the floor is designed to last the lifetime of your home.
Is this floor GREENGUARD certified?
Yes. Neacola is GREENGUARD Gold certified, which means it meets strict chemical emission standards for indoor air quality. It is also completely formaldehyde-free, verified by ISO testing.

Neacola has a Sound Transmission Class (STC) rating of 72 and an Impact Insulation Class (IIC) rating of 73. These ratings reflect the acoustic performance of the floor with the attached IXPE underlayment.
