Mt Brave is a waterproof, wood-look WPC floor in a soft warm taupe-brown shade, with a heavy-duty, high-traffic wear layer for a low-maintenance, practical finish.

Is it waterproof?

Yes — 100% waterproof. Built for daily life: mop-and-go cleaning, occasional spills, and pet accidents wiped up promptly; clean standing water quickly. Indoor use only — outdoor installation is not approved.

How durable is it, and what traffic can it take?

Mt Brave features a 30 mil wear layer — which works out to 0.76 mm — appropriate for heavy residential use and many commercial applications, so you get exceptional protection against scratches, scuffs, and everyday wear. That puts it toward the top of the WPC wear-layer range.

Will it hold up to daily life?

Office chair wheels, spike-heel point loads, and dragged furniture all concentrate force. Mt Brave's 30 mil wear layer plus 12mm rigid WPC core manages this better than laminate — WPC resists crush-indent where laminate high-density fiberboard would dent permanently.

What does the plank surface look like?

The plank surface shows an open cathedral grain with a calm, even figure and a few subtle swirls that keep it from looking mechanical. Faint ray fleck and small figure eyes drift between fine straight striations, and only a sparse scatter of pin knots interrupts the flow. It is an uncluttered grain that reads calm and unhurried across a wide floor.

Quiet enough upstairs or in a condo?

The 2mm IXPE acoustic layer damps the hollow "click" sound characteristic of floating floors. Mt Brave is quieter underfoot than LVT with a loose pad — both for the walker and for rooms below in multi-story homes.
