Is it waterproof?

Yes — 100% waterproof. Day-to-day life — a dropped glass, a pet bowl, a tracked-in puddle — wipes up without swelling or delamination when cleaned promptly; standing water should not be left to sit. Outdoor use is not approved.

How durable is it, and what traffic can it take?

The top of Moda carries a 20 mil wear layer — which works out to 0.51 mm — intended for heavy residential use and many light-commercial applications, giving you excellent protection against everyday scratches, scuffs, and abrasion. It runs noticeably thicker than the entry-level wear layers.

How do I clean and maintain it?

Small dark knots and finer pin knots are scattered across the face at a moderate rate, and dark mineral streaks run in thin lines along the grain. That combination gives the surface real character without a heavily rustic look, closer to a clean, quietly detailed board than a busy one. Because the print varies from board to board, a Moda floor avoids a stamped, repeating look and feels closer to real planed boards than a printed pattern.
