Meditative Oak is a waterproof, wood-look WPC floor in a soft mid taupe-brown shade, with a thick, high-traffic wear layer for a simple, carefree finish.

Is it waterproof?

Yes — 100% waterproof. Stable against concrete-slab humidity and seasonal moisture variation, so Meditative Oak suits below-grade rooms once the slab passes a moisture test; clean up standing water promptly. Not approved for outdoor installation.

How durable is it, and what traffic can it take?

The surface is topped by a 20 mil wear layer — which works out to 0.51 mm — recommended for heavy residential use and many light-commercial applications, delivering excellent protection against everyday scratches, scuffs, and abrasion. It's a step up from the standard-duty wear layers in everyday durability.

Will it hold up to daily life?

At 20 mil, Meditative Oak's wear layer sits on the thicker end for residential flooring, which is why it stands up well to heavy day-to-day use. The 10.25mm construction gives it a solid, stable feel underfoot in busy rooms.

What does the plank surface look like?

Up close the plank surface shows a tight, straight grain with only quiet figure - no loud swirls, just the gentle rise of a cathedral arch here and there. Faint mineral flecks track along the grain lines, and you will spot the occasional pin knot near a board end. The figure shifts subtly from board to board, so the floor looks natural rather than repeated, while the overall read stays quiet and consistent.

Quiet enough upstairs or in a condo?

The attached acoustic layer damps the hollow "click" sound characteristic of floating floors. Meditative Oak is quieter underfoot than LVT with a loose pad — both for the walker and for rooms below in multi-story homes.

Is it safe for indoor air?

Yes — Meditative Oak carries GREENGUARD Gold certification, independently tested for low chemical emissions. That matters most for households with allergies, asthma, or young children.
