Quick Answer

What is Dublin Pine?

Dublin Pine is a rigid, wood-look SPC floor in a cool whitewashed greige shade, with a heavy residential, light-commercial-ready wear layer for a simple, carefree finish.

Is it waterproof?

Yes — 100% waterproof. The stone-polymer core stands up to everyday surface water — spills, mop water, pet accidents — without swelling or delaminating when wiped up promptly. It won't substitute for fixing a standing leak; dry the floor and the source quickly. Not approved for outdoor installation; keep the subfloor dry before and during install.

How durable is it, and what traffic can it take?

The plank features a 20 mil wear layer — approximately 0.50 mm — a good match for heavy residential use and many light-commercial applications, so you get excellent protection against everyday scratches, scuffs, and abrasion. That's a step above the standard-duty wear layers.

Will it hold up to daily life?

Minor scratches on Dublin Pine stay low-visibility — faint surface marks rather than the bright white scuff lines a glossy floor shows. The 20 mil wear layer hides minor wear within the printed grain pattern — low visibility, not just high durability.

What does the plank surface look like?

The 9-inch plank shows a lengthwise grain with a rippling flame figure framed by crisp vertical growth striping, plus a scattering of small knots. Board-to-board contrast is gentle, so the run looks even and orderly rather than rustic.

Quiet enough upstairs or in a condo?

The cork acoustic layer damps the hollow "click" sound characteristic of floating floors. Dublin Pine is quieter underfoot than LVT with a loose pad — both for the walker and for rooms below in multi-story homes.

Is it safe for indoor air?

Yes — Dublin Pine carries GREENGUARD Gold certification, independently tested for low chemical emissions. That matters most for households with allergies, asthma, or young children.

Will this color work in my room?

This pale, bleached greige is meant to keep a room feeling open. Dublin Pine reflects daylight well and pairs easily with white, grey, and black fixtures, so it suits a minimalist retail floor, a bright home office, or any space where you want the floor to stay quiet and clean.

Overview

Dublin Pine is a whitewashed pale greige with a cool, lightly bleached cast, the kind of crisp neutral that suits a bright, modern retail floor. Printed over a rigid SPC stone-polymer core, the plank is 100 percent waterproof and stands up to steady foot traffic, and it is GREENGUARD Gold certified for low chemical emissions, which matters in a closed, customer-facing room. In the photographed boutique it runs beneath white display counters and floating shelves against soft grey walls, with daylight from the storefront washing across it. The bleached greige keeps the space looking clean and contemporary.

A crisp, whitewashed greige floor that keeps a daylit retail space looking clean and current.

Frequently asked questions

What does it look like installed in a real room?
Installed across the boutique floor, Dublin Pine reads as an even, bright field of pale greige that lets the white counters and displayed goods take the eye. The long planks and tight flame figure give the space a clean, contemporary rhythm under the storefront daylight.
Will it match my cabinets?
It does. The whitewashed greige sits cleanly against the white display units and would do the same against white or pale-grey cabinetry at home. Next to darker or black fixtures it provides a bright, low-contrast base that keeps the look crisp.
Will it still look this bright in a windowless basement?
The boutique is lit by both storefront daylight and bright cool retail fixtures, and Dublin Pine holds its pale, even tone under each. In a windowless room it would read much the same, reflecting overhead light to keep the space from feeling closed in.
Does this floor work with indoor plants?
Yes. In the photographed shop a single statement floral arrangement sits against the pale floor, and the cool greige makes fresh greenery and blooms stand out. Potted plants read vivid over this whitewashed tone, so a few well-placed pots suit it well.
