Each plank is finished with a clear UV lacquer and a wire-brushed texture that opens the grain, then milled with a Tongue & Groove profile in a generous 7.5″ wide by 75″ long format. The collection runs to four soft, cool-leaning neutrals — Garonne, Moselle, Vienne and Seine — spanning two warm blondes, a medium beige and a light greige. Is River Run flooring waterproof?

No. River Run is water-resistant but not waterproof. It handles everyday spills that are wiped up promptly, but as a real-wood engineered oak floor it should not be used in standing-water or wet areas such as walk-in showers, and spills should not be left to sit.

Can River Run be refinished?

Yes. The 4mm real-wood oak veneer is thick enough to sand and refinish two to three times over the floor’s life, so surface scratches and wear can be corrected rather than requiring replacement — an advantage over thin-veneer engineered floors.

Can River Run be installed below grade or over concrete?

Yes. The cross-layered engineered core is rated for above-grade, on-grade and below-grade installation, so it can go in basements and over concrete slabs where solid hardwood is not recommended. A proper moisture barrier and subfloor prep are still required.

How is River Run installed?

River Run uses a Tongue & Groove profile and can be nailed, glued, or floated, so it adapts to most subfloors and to radiant-heat setups. Floating and glue-down installs work over concrete; nail-down suits a wood subfloor. We recommend a professional installer to keep the warranty intact.
