It is a 6mm stone-polymer-core plank in a 9-inch by 60-inch format with a Uniclic locking system, a 20 mil Ceramic Bead wear layer, a Larger Micro Bevel edge, and a pre-attached 1.5mm IXPE acoustic underlayment. The 6 colors run from blonde and light beige through light, medium, and rustic multi-tone browns to a deep dark brown — a complete wood-look palette in one engineered, 100% waterproof product. What kind of core does Serendipity use?

Can I install Serendipity in a kitchen or bathroom?

Yes. The core is 100% waterproof, so kitchens, bathrooms, and laundry rooms are ideal uses. Wipe spills with a damp (not wet) mop and dry off any surplus water; after a flooding event, remove standing water promptly and run a dehumidifier. The floor is for indoor use only.

Does it work over radiant heat?

Yes, over embedded radiant-heated subfloors, with a maximum subfloor surface temperature of 85F. Run the radiant heat at normal temperature for 21 days before installation, turn it off 24 hours before and after, then raise it gradually over a 7-day period.

Is it a DIY click install?

It uses a Uniclic angle-lock system and installs as a floating floor — not glued or nailed. Acclimate the planks 24 to 48 hours on site, keep a minimum 5/16-inch expansion gap around the perimeter, stagger end joints at least 8 inches, and pull planks from at least five boxes to blend natural variation. The substrate must be dry, clean, smooth, and flat; the planks already have an attached pad, so add no extra underlayment.
