Is it waterproof?

Yes — 100% waterproof. Built for daily life: mop-and-go cleaning, occasional spills, and pet accidents wiped up promptly; clean standing water quickly. Indoor use only — outdoor installation is not approved.

How durable is it, and what traffic can it take?

The surface is topped by a 12 mil wear layer — that's approximately 0.30 mm — ideal for everyday residential use across the busy areas of most homes, with solid everyday scratch and scuff resistance. A middle-of-the-range wear layer that balances durability with value.

Will it hold up to daily life?

Office chair wheels, spike-heel point loads, and dragged furniture all concentrate force. Woodbury Maple's 12 mil wear layer plus 6.5mm rigid WPC core manages this better than laminate — WPC resists crush-indent where laminate high-density fiberboard would dent permanently.

What does the plank surface look like?

Up close the Woodbury Maple plank shows a tight, straight grain with fine flowing lines running the length of the board, lifted now and then by a quiet cathedral figure rather than a big swirl. The pattern shifts gently from one board to the next, so the floor has natural movement without turning busy. Faint pin knots sit sparse across the surface as small light marks, and a little fine streaking traces along the grain. It reads soft and refined, a warm sand pattern printed over the WPC core.

Quiet enough upstairs or in a condo?

The attached acoustic layer damps the hollow "click" sound characteristic of floating floors. Woodbury Maple is quieter underfoot than LVT with a loose pad — both for the walker and for rooms below in multi-story homes.
