How durable is it, and what traffic can it take?

Every plank is finished with a 22 mil wear layer — roughly 0.56 mm thick — appropriate for heavy residential use and many light-commercial applications, providing excellent long-term durability. It runs noticeably thicker than the entry-level wear layers.

Will it hold up to daily life?

Dog nails, cat claws, litter grit, water-bowl splash — Ivory Lace Pecan's 22 mil wear layer and finish resist the scratches and scuffs a pet household puts on a floor, whereas a thinner LVT wear layer marks more easily.

What does the plank surface look like?

Up close, the Ivory Lace Pecan surface stays calm and open. The grain runs in long, loose lines down each board with a soft rolling figure, never tightening into busy peaks. Gentle mineral streaking traces the length in a slightly darker tan, and a scatter of pin knots turns up here and there, small and pale rather than dark, reading as light natural character. Board to board the variation stays even and low in contrast, so a full floor looks consistent rather than patchy; the texture is there, but quiet enough that you notice it only when you look.
