Quick Answer
What is Liora?
Liora is a wood-look SPC floor built around a caramel brown color, with a durable, heavy-traffic wear layer for a simple, carefree finish.
Is it waterproof?
Yes — 100% waterproof. A splash at the sink or a dropped glass wipes up without harming Liora when cleaned promptly; don't leave water standing. Indoor use only — outdoor installation is not approved.
How durable is it, and what traffic can it take?
The surface of Liora is finished with a 20 mil wear layer — equivalent to 0.51 mm — built for heavy residential use and many light-commercial applications, giving you excellent protection against everyday scratches, scuffs, and abrasion. It sits at the thicker, harder-wearing end of the range.
Will it hold up to daily life?
Liora has a 20 mil protective layer — thicker than the thin wear layers on entry-level LVT. That's the physical protective film above the print, sealed by Super Scratch & Stain Shield Tech™ Finish.
What does the plank surface look like?
Up close, Liora shows an open cathedral grain with pronounced peaks and clearly defined figure running the length of each plank. A few small knots and fine fissures are scattered sparsely across the boards, enough to read as natural planking without the heavy knotting of a rustic floor. The printed face changes from one board to the next, so no two planks repeat the same pattern.
Quiet enough upstairs or in a condo?
The 1.5mm IXPE acoustic layer damps the hollow "click" sound characteristic of floating floors. Liora is quieter underfoot than LVT with a loose pad — both for the walker and for rooms below in multi-story homes.
Is it safe for indoor air?
Yes — Liora carries FloorScore, GREENGUARD certifications, independently tested for low chemical emissions. That matters most for households with allergies, asthma, or young children.
Will this color work in my room?
In a bright, window-filled bedroom the morning light lifts Liora's caramel brown toward its golden side, so the color reads warm and clear rather than heavy. Through the day the tone stays consistent, warming again as the afternoon light softens. It suits cream and off-white walls, and a touch of deeper wood-tone furniture gives it enough contrast to feel intentional.

Overview
A soft golden-tan glow runs through Liora's warm caramel brown, warm enough to feel inviting yet light enough to keep a room open. Tall cathedral peaks arch down each plank, broken here and there by a few small knots and fine fissures that add quiet character without turning the surface busy. Plank to plank the figure shifts, so the run reads like real planking rather than a flat field. In its bright modern-coastal bedroom the caramel tone warms the morning light and stays easy against textured cream walls.
Caramel warmth with a golden-tan glow — a restful floor for a light-filled room.
