Is it waterproof?

Yes — 100% waterproof. The rigid core stands up to everyday surface water — spills, mop water, pet accidents — without swelling or delaminating when wiped up promptly. It won't substitute for fixing a standing leak; dry the floor and the source quickly. Not approved for outdoor installation; keep the subfloor dry before and during install.

How durable is it, and what traffic can it take?

The plank features a 20 mil wear layer — equivalent to 0.51 mm — designed for heavy residential use and many light-commercial applications, providing excellent protection against everyday scratches, scuffs, and abrasion. It runs noticeably thicker than the entry-level wear layers.

Will it hold up to daily life?

Minor scratches on Graphite Grey stay low-visibility — faint surface marks rather than the bright white scuff lines a glossy floor shows. The 20 mil wear layer hides minor wear within the printed grain pattern, so day-to-day marks blend in rather than standing out.

What does the plank surface look like?

Up close, the plank surface shows flowing cathedral grain that sweeps into wide arches through the center of each board, framed by tight ribbon-grain lines along the edges. Small round pin knots scatter across the field at a moderate spacing, with fine mineral streaking threading between them. A gentle figure shift from one board to the next keeps the printed surface looking varied rather than repetitive.

The 1.5mm Bio Guard anti-bacterial EVA acoustic layer damps the hollow "click" sound characteristic of floating floors. Graphite Grey is quieter underfoot than LVT with a loose pad — both for the walker and for rooms below in multi-story homes.
