What is Fog?

Fog is a wood-look SPC floor in a soft charcoal greige shade, with a resilient, home-grade wear layer for a simple, carefree finish.

Is it waterproof?

Yes — 100% waterproof. A splash at the sink or a dropped glass wipes up without harming Fog when cleaned promptly; don't leave water standing. Indoor use only — outdoor installation is not approved.

How durable is it, and what traffic can it take?

The surface of Fog is finished with a 12 mil wear layer — roughly 0.30 mm thick — intended for everyday residential use across the busy areas of most homes, delivering solid everyday scratch and scuff resistance. That's one of the most common wear-layer thicknesses.

Will it hold up to daily life?

Fog has a 12 mil protective layer — thicker than the thin wear layers on entry-level LVT. That's the physical protective film above the print, sealed by finish.

What does the plank surface look like?

Up close, Fog shows an open, flowing grain with long sweeping figure and strong but not overwhelming knot character - dark open knots with radiating cracks and fine checks along the grain, varying clearly from board to board. It has real rustic texture in the look while staying a touch softer and warmer than a heavily clustered plank, printed so each plank keeps the same warm character.

Quiet enough upstairs or in a condo?

The 1mm EVA acoustic layer damps the hollow "click" sound characteristic of floating floors. Fog is quieter underfoot than LVT with a loose pad — both for the walker and for rooms below in multi-story homes.

Is it safe for indoor air?

Yes — Fog carries FloorScore certification, independently tested for low chemical emissions. That matters most for households with allergies, asthma, or young children.

Will this color work in my room?

In the afternoon, under warm ambient light and a fabric-shade chandelier, Fog's greige warms and the taupe-brown depth comes forward. Daylight from the window keeps it reading neutral, while lower light deepens it toward a soft brown-grey. That warm-neutral balance pairs easily with cream, chocolate-brown, and taupe furnishings.
