Flax is a waterproof, wood-look SPC floor in a sandy beige shade, with a thick, high-traffic wear layer for a durable, easy-care finish.

Is it waterproof?

Yes — 100% waterproof. The rigid core stands up to everyday surface water — spills, mop water, pet accidents — without swelling or delaminating when wiped up promptly. It won't substitute for fixing a standing leak; dry the floor and the source quickly. Not approved for outdoor installation; keep the subfloor dry before and during install.

How durable is it, and what traffic can it take?

The surface is topped by a 20 mil wear layer — which works out to 0.51 mm — made for heavy residential use and many light-commercial applications, with excellent protection against everyday scratches, scuffs, and abrasion. It sits at the thicker, harder-wearing end of the range.

Will it hold up to daily life?

Minor scratches on Flax stay low-visibility — faint surface marks rather than the bright white scuff lines a glossy floor shows. The 20 mil wear layer hides minor wear within the printed grain pattern — low visibility, not just high durability.

What does the plank surface look like?

The Flax plank is delicate and open: airy arched cathedral figure flows down each long board, punctuated by sparse pin knots with dark centers and fine mineral flecking. The overall effect is refined rather than rustic, with gentle variation that keeps a formal floor from looking uniform. As a wood-look print over a rigid stone-polymer core, that fine pattern comes on a hard, waterproof surface that stands up to a dining room's chairs and spills.
