What is Charbono?

Charbono is a waterproof, wood-look WPC floor built around a soft light brown color, with a thick, heavy-wear surface for a low-maintenance, practical finish.

Is it waterproof?

Yes — 100% waterproof. Kitchen reality — dropped pots, splashes, and daily mop-and-go cleaning — won't faze the planks, as long as you wipe spills up promptly and dry any standing water. Not approved for outdoor installation; test the subfloor for moisture before installing.

How durable is it, and what traffic can it take?

Charbono comes with a 30 mil wear layer — measuring about 0.76 mm — a good match for heavy residential use and many commercial applications, providing exceptional protection against scratches, scuffs, and everyday wear. That puts it toward the top of the WPC wear-layer range.

Will it hold up to daily life?

Dog nails, cat claws, litter grit, water-bowl splash — Charbono's 30 mil wear layer and finish resist the scratches and scuffs a pet household puts on a floor, whereas a thinner LVT wear layer marks more easily.

What does the plank surface look like?

The Charbono plank stands apart for its flowing, swirled figure, with wavy grain bands and streaks of ribbon contrast moving across each board. A few small knots break up the pattern, adding quiet character to a wood-look print that already has real movement. Up close it reads soft and organic rather than straight-lined.

Quiet enough upstairs or in a condo?

The 2mm IXPE acoustic layer damps the hollow "click" sound characteristic of floating floors. Charbono is quieter underfoot than LVT with a loose pad — both for the walker and for rooms below in multi-story homes.

Is it safe for indoor air?

Yes — Charbono carries FloorScore certification, independently tested for low chemical emissions. That matters most for households with allergies, asthma, or young children.

Will this color work in my room?
