White River Collection — 6mm SPC Vinyl Plank (Republic Floor)

The White River Collection is Republic Floor’s rigid SPC line built for busy, water-prone rooms — kitchens, bathrooms, basements, and anywhere a floor takes daily wear. Each plank is a 6mm SPC (Stone Polymer Core) board with a 20 mil wear layer and an attached acoustic EVA underlayment, so the pad and sound-dampening layer are already built in. Planks measure 9″ x 60″ and lock together with an angle-drop click-lock system for a floating, glue-free install. The line comes in 7 colors that lean notably light, backed by FloorScore certification and a 50 Years Residential / 10 Years Commercial warranty. White River is available to order through our Santa Clara showroom.

Colors in the White River Collection

White River leans notably light within the Republic lineup: most of its seven colors sit in the Light Beige family, with a Medium Beige and a Light Grey option rounding things out. Names like California White, Opal Cream, and Sea Pearl land on the collection’s brightest, near-white end, while Desert Sunrise, Sand River, and Southern Magnolia bring in warmer beige tones, and Norwegian Rose is the collection’s cooler grey-leaning shade. If the goal is a bright, open floor that reflects light rather than absorbs it — especially in a smaller room or one with limited natural light — this is the Republic collection with the deepest bench of light options.

Best uses for White River Collection

  • Kitchens and bathrooms — the SPC core is 100% waterproof with no time limit, so spills and splashes aren’t a concern.
  • Basements and below-grade rooms — rated for above, on, and below grade installation, including slab-on-grade basements.
  • High-traffic hallways and living areas — the 20 mil wear layer holds up to daily foot traffic.
  • Pet households — a waterproof, easy-to-clean surface for muddy paws and accidents.
  • Open-concept and small spaces — the collection’s light color range helps connected rooms feel larger and brighter.
  • Rentals and multi-family units — the attached acoustic EVA underlayment lets it float over the subfloor with no glue or nails.

Choosing a color from the White River Collection

Because White River’s palette runs light, bring a photo of your cabinetry and trim when comparing samples — a light floor next to light cabinets can flatten a room, while pairing it with a darker countertop or trim usually gives better contrast. Cooler shades like Norwegian Rose can read differently under LED light than under natural daylight, so it’s worth holding a sample in the actual room before ordering. Stop by our Santa Clara showroom to see the full White River range in person and compare it side-by-side with Republic’s other collections.

Frequently asked questions about the White River Collection

Yes. Every White River plank has a genuine SPC (Stone Polymer Core), which is 100% waterproof with no time limit for standing water — it’s rated for kitchens, bathrooms, and basements.
Can White River go over radiant heat?
Yes. White River is compatible with hydronic and embedded radiant heat systems, as long as the floor’s surface temperature stays at or below 85 degrees F.
Can I install White River myself?
Yes. White River planks use an angle-drop click-lock system and float over the subfloor with no glue or nails, which makes it a straightforward DIY install for anyone comfortable with basic flooring tools.
Do I need a moisture barrier under White River?
Over concrete subfloors, yes — Republic requires a 6-mil poly vapor barrier under every White River installation on concrete, whether on, above, or below grade.
How much White River do I need to order?
Each carton covers 26.19 square feet. Measure your room, add 5-10% for waste and cuts, and order in full cartons — our Santa Clara team can help you calculate exact carton counts for your space.
