Angel Woods — 6mm Waterproof SPC (Republic Floor)
Angel Woods is Republic Floor’s 6mm SPC vinyl plank line, built on a Stone Polymer Core with a 20 mil wear layer for genuine day-to-day durability. Every plank comes with a 1.8mm Bio Guard anti-bacterial acoustic EVA pad pre-attached, so the underlayment and sound-dampening layer are already built in before it leaves the carton. Planks measure 9″ x 60″ and join with an angle-drop click-lock system for a floating, glue-free install. The line ships in 4 colors running from light grey through soft and medium beige tones, is FloorScore certified for indoor air quality, and is backed by a 50-Year Residential / 10-Year Commercial warranty. Angel Woods is available to order through our Santa Clara showroom.

Colors in the Angel Woods
The 4 Angel Woods colors sit across a light, neutral palette: a light grey, a light beige, and two medium beige tones. Amarillo Pearl and Canadian Sage lean cooler and lighter, good for brightening a smaller or lower-light room, while Butterfly Beige and Camila Brown read warmer and work well against wood-tone cabinetry or trim. All four stay in the same light-to-medium range, so any color in the collection pairs easily with light or mid-tone walls without pulling a room too dark.
Best uses for Angel Woods
- Kitchens and bathrooms — the SPC core is 100% waterproof with no exposure time limit, so spills and splashes are not a concern.
- Basements and below-grade rooms — Angel Woods is rated for above, on, and below-grade installation.
- Homes with pets or kids — the 20 mil wear layer stands up to everyday scuffs and high traffic.
- Sound-sensitive spaces — the attached Bio Guard acoustic pad is built for both quieter footfall and an anti-bacterial surface, without adding a separate underlayment purchase.
- Rooms with radiant heat — compatible with hydronic and embedded radiant systems as long as the floor surface stays at or below 85 degrees F.
- Rental and multi-unit properties — a floating click-lock floor that installs without glue keeps turnover fast and low-mess.
Choosing a color from the Angel Woods
In a room with strong natural light, a lighter tone like Amarillo Pearl or Canadian Sage keeps the space feeling open, while Camila Brown or Butterfly Beige can ground a larger, brighter room. Because all four colors sit close together in the light-to-medium range, it’s worth seeing a physical sample against your cabinetry and wall color before deciding — bring your own lighting into the comparison. Samples of every Angel Woods color are available to view in person at our Santa Clara showroom.
