What is Butterfly Beige?

Butterfly Beige is a wood-look SPC floor in a soft beige shade, with a thick, high-traffic wear layer for a simple, carefree finish.

Is it waterproof?

Yes — 100% waterproof. The rigid core stands up to everyday surface water — spills, mop water, pet accidents — without swelling or delaminating when wiped up promptly. It won't substitute for fixing a standing leak; dry the floor and the source quickly. Not approved for outdoor installation; keep the subfloor dry before and during install.

How durable is it, and what traffic can it take?

The flooring uses a 20 mil wear layer — which works out to 0.51 mm — made for heavy residential use and many light-commercial applications, offering excellent protection against everyday scratches, scuffs, and abrasion. That's a step above the standard-duty wear layers.

Will it hold up to daily life?

Minor scratches on Butterfly Beige stay low-visibility — faint surface marks rather than the bright white scuff lines a glossy floor shows. The 20 mil wear layer hides minor wear within the printed grain pattern, so day-to-day marks blend in rather than standing out.

What does the plank surface look like?

Up close, Butterfly Beige shows a flowing cathedral figure with long straight grain runs down most of each board. Dark knot centers punctuate the surface, several of them splitting into fine hairline fissures. Long mineral streaks trace the grain, adding quiet movement to the pale sandy face without making it look busy.

Quiet enough upstairs or in a condo?

The 1.8mm Bio Guard anti-bacterial EVA acoustic layer damps the hollow "click" sound characteristic of floating floors. Butterfly Beige is quieter underfoot than LVT with a loose pad — both for the walker and for rooms below in multi-story homes.

Will this color work in my room?

With many windows pulling in early-morning daylight, Butterfly Beige lifts to a clean, pale sand that keeps a bedroom feeling open and bright. As the light softens into evening lamplight, the sandy undertone warms a shade without going yellow or orange. Set against warm greige walls, it stays serene and balanced, working just as well with cool linens as with warmer coastal tones.
