Diamond — 6.5mm SPC Waterproof Flooring (GemCore Flooring)
Diamond is GemCore’s heaviest-duty SPC line — a 6.5mm stone-composite plank carrying a 28-mil wear layer, the highest of any GemCore collection, under a Commercial Ceramic Bead UV coating. It clicks together as a floating floor over a pre-attached 1mm IXPE pad, in a 9″ × 60″ board. The 6-color range runs from light beige through rustic multi-tone browns to one dark grey. Diamond is FloorScore certified and carries a warranty up to Lifetime Residential. Order any Diamond color through our Santa Clara showroom.

Colors in the Diamond collection
Diamond’s 6 colors lean toward the rustic end of GemCore’s range: Cullinan, Jubilee, and Paragon carry a multi-tone, weathered-brown character, while Baroda and Sancy are calmer, lighter beiges. Hope is the collection’s dark-grey option, for a room that wants a bolder, cooler floor.
Best uses for Diamond
- High-traffic living areas & entryways — the 28-mil wear layer is the thickest GemCore offers, built for the busiest rooms in a home.
- Homes with large dogs or heavy furniture traffic — the extra wear-layer thickness gives more margin against scuffs than the brand’s 20-mil SPC lines.
- Kitchens & baths — the waterproof stone-composite core and pre-attached pad handle spills without extra underlayment.
- Basements & other below-grade rooms — the stone-composite core resists the humidity swings that affect solid wood; follow the install guide’s moisture-barrier requirement.
- Light commercial spaces — Diamond’s 15-Year Light Commercial warranty term supports use beyond a typical residence.
Choosing a color from the Diamond collection
The rustic, multi-tone Cullinan, Jubilee, and Paragon colors hide scuffs and variation well in a busy, high-traffic room, while Baroda and Sancy give a calmer, more uniform look for a space that wants a quieter floor. Hope’s dark grey works best in a well-lit room, since darker tones can read heavy under limited natural light. Order a sample or visit our Santa Clara showroom to see the color under your own lighting before ordering full cartons — dye lots can shift slightly between production runs.
