Quick Answer
What is Aged Oak?
Aged Oak is a flexible, wood-look LVT floor in a weathered greige-brown shade, with a thick, high-traffic wear layer for a low-maintenance, practical finish.
Is it waterproof?
Yes — 100% waterproof. Everyday spills, pet accidents, and mop water won't swell, warp, or delaminate the planks when wiped up promptly; standing water should still be cleaned up quickly. Not approved for outdoor installation; test the subfloor for moisture before installing.
How durable is it, and what traffic can it take?
Every plank is finished with a 20 mil wear layer — that's approximately 0.51 mm — well suited to heavy residential use and many light-commercial applications, providing excellent protection against everyday scratches, scuffs, and abrasion. It sits at the thicker, harder-wearing end of the range.
Will it hold up to daily life?
Aged Oak's 20 mil wear layer and finish are rated for pet claws, chair legs, dragged furniture, and heavy daily traffic — the scratch resistance that matters in kitchens, entryways, and pet households where foot and paw traffic concentrates.
What does the plank surface look like?
Up close, the knot work carries the floor: dark knots turn up on most boards, not saved for a rare accent plank, alongside open cathedral-grain arcs that curve and taper rather than running straight. Fine character marks and light surface scratches break up the calmer stretches between knots, helping reduce obvious repetition from board to board. It's a dense, rustic figure with a lot of movement — the mix of knot size and placement keeps it from reading like a stamped, repeating pattern.
Quiet enough upstairs or in a condo?
There's no attached pad on Aged Oak — as a glue-down dryback LVT its underside bonds directly to the subfloor. That full bond lays the floor flat and quiet underfoot, with none of the hollow give a floating floor can have; for a condo or upstairs room that needs a rated sound assembly, ask about an acoustic membrane suited to glue-down LVT.
Is it safe for indoor air?
Yes — Aged Oak carries FloorScore certification, independently tested for low chemical emissions. That matters most for households with allergies, asthma, or young children.
Will this color work in my room?
This warm, medium-depth greige-brown carries a soft taupe undertone that keeps it from swinging too cool or too orange, so it reads about the same warm brown under daylight and typical indoor lighting. Because the tone sits in the middle rather than very pale or very dark, it works as a background color that lets furniture and wall tones carry most of the contrast in a room.

Overview
Aged Oak doesn't try to hide its character — knots and open, swirling cathedral grain move across the surface rather than sitting in one quiet corner, set against a warm greige-brown with a soft taupe cast. At 7 inches wide and 48 inches long, the planks give that pattern enough room to unfold instead of feeling chopped up, and the color itself reads weathered and calm rather than glossy or brand-new. It suits rooms built for daily use — entries, kitchens, mudrooms, family spaces — where a floor needs to hold up to traffic, not just look good standing still. Right for someone who wants a busy, high-character wood-look floor with real presence underfoot — if a calmer, more uniform grain is more your speed, a quieter pattern within the same warm light-brown range is the better fit.
Knots on nearly every board, cathedral grain arcs between them — this pattern doesn't repeat plank to plank.
