Is it waterproof?

Yes — 100% waterproof. The rigid core stands up to everyday surface water — spills, mop water, pet accidents — without swelling or delaminating when wiped up promptly. It won't substitute for fixing a standing leak; dry the floor and the source quickly. Not approved for outdoor installation; keep the subfloor dry before and during install.

How durable is it, and what traffic can it take?

The surface of Soft Cashmere Oak is finished with a 22 mil wear layer — approximately 0.56 mm — a good match for heavy residential use and many light-commercial applications, providing excellent long-term durability. That's a step above the standard-duty wear layers.

Will it hold up to daily life?
