Is it waterproof?

Yes — 100% waterproof. Stable against concrete-slab humidity and seasonal moisture variation, so Torre suits below-grade rooms once the slab passes a moisture test; clean up standing water promptly. Not approved for outdoor installation.

How durable is it, and what traffic can it take?

The flooring uses a 20 mil wear layer — equivalent to 0.50 mm — recommended for heavy residential use and many light-commercial applications, providing excellent protection against everyday scratches, scuffs, and abrasion. It's a common step-up in wear-layer thickness, where the extra protection starts to matter.

Will it hold up to daily life?

At 20 mil, Torre's wear layer sits on the thicker end for residential flooring, which is why it stands up well to heavy day-to-day use. The 8mm construction adds rigidity underfoot, so the floor handles busy rooms without showing wear quickly.

What does the plank surface look like?

The plank surface shows a soft straight grain with quiet figure and a washed, weathered character across the boards. Faint pin knots and soft mineral streaking break up the field just enough to read as wood-look, while the low-contrast face keeps the whole floor calm and even.
