Yes — 100% waterproof. A splash at the sink or a dropped glass wipes up without harming Lyric Oak when cleaned promptly; don't leave water standing. Indoor use only — outdoor installation is not approved.
How durable is it, and what traffic can it take?
Every plank is finished with a 20 mil wear layer — equal to about 0.50 mm — well suited to heavy residential use and many light-commercial applications, offering excellent protection against everyday scratches, scuffs, and abrasion. That's a step above the standard-duty wear layers.
Will it hold up to daily life?
Lyric Oak has a 20 mil protective layer — thicker than the roughly 12-mil mid-tier and 6-mil entry-level LVT wear layers. That's the physical protective film above the print, sealed by finish.
What does the plank surface look like?
Each 7-inch plank shows tight cathedral arching down the middle, accented by dark mineral flecks and a scatter of small knots. The figure is even and repeats gently, so the surface reads orderly and serene. Across a floor the consistent grain gives a calm, unbroken rhythm.
