Austin is a wood-look SPC floor in a soft warm greige-beige tone, with a thick, high-traffic wear layer for a simple, carefree finish.

Is it waterproof?

Yes — 100% waterproof. Austin handles pet accidents, water-bowl spills, and tracked-in mud without swelling, as long as they are wiped up promptly. Clean up standing water quickly. Not approved for outdoor installation.

How durable is it, and what traffic can it take?

Austin has a 20 mil wear layer — roughly 0.51 mm thick — ideal for heavy residential use and many light-commercial applications, offering excellent protection against everyday scratches, scuffs, and abrasion. In everyday use, it's a step up from the standard-duty wear layers.

Will it hold up to daily life?

Austin's 20 mil wear layer and finish resist scratching and scuffing over years of use. It wipes clean with a vinyl-safe cleaner and a damp mop, and keeps the printed grain reading consistent across the floor.

What does the plank surface look like?

Up close, Austin runs a flowing straight grain that sweeps into soft peaks toward the middle of each board, with faint mineral streaks tracing the length. Small knots sit scattered across the face at a relaxed, moderate spacing, adding gentle interest without turning busy or rustic. Board to board, the printed figure shifts just enough that no two lengths look identical.

There's no separate underlayment to buy and no pad to choose. Austin's factory-attached EVA acoustic pad comes bonded to every plank and dampens footfall noise throughout the home — one less material decision and one less install step.
