Agave is a waterproof, wood-look SPC floor in a honeyed light brown shade, with a durable, heavy-traffic wear layer for a simple, carefree finish.
Is it waterproof?
Yes — 100% waterproof. Powder-room splashes, daily wet feet, and towel drops wipe up without harm when cleaned promptly. Indoor use only — not for installation inside showers or wet rooms, and outdoor installation is not approved.
How durable is it, and what traffic can it take?
The flooring uses a 20 mil wear layer — about 0.51 mm — built for heavy residential use and many light-commercial applications, giving you excellent protection against everyday scratches, scuffs, and abrasion. It runs noticeably thicker than the entry-level wear layers.
Will it hold up to daily life?
Kitchen stress test: dropped cutlery, pans slid from oven to counter, refrigerator casters, and dishwasher spray — Agave's 20 mil wear layer and finish handle the spills, dropped pots, and dragged stools of daily kitchen use, and wipe clean with a vinyl-safe cleaner.
What does the plank surface look like?
The Agave planks are full of natural detail up close, with an open cathedral figure arching across the boards, dark knot centers, and small fissures. Mineral streaking runs through the peaks and the figure varies board to board, giving the printed surface a lively, characterful look.
Quiet enough upstairs or in a condo?
There's no separate underlayment to buy and no pad to choose. Agave's factory-attached 1mm EVA acoustic pad comes bonded to every plank and dampens footfall noise throughout the home — one less material decision and one less install step.
Is it safe for indoor air?
Yes — Agave carries FloorScore certification, independently tested for low chemical emissions. That matters most for households with allergies, asthma, or young children.
Will this color work in my room?
