Conquest is Paradigm’s flagship SPC collection — the most robust of the brand’s stone-core floors. Each plank pairs a 6.5mm rigid stone polymer core with a 1.5mm factory-attached pad (8mm total), a commercial-grade 20-mil wear layer, and a Ceramic Bead finish with an Embossed-in-Register texture that lines the grain up with the print. Wide 9″ × 72″ boards lock together with a Unilin 5G angle system, and the whole line is FloorScore certified and 100% waterproof. Is Conquest waterproof enough for a bathroom?
Yes. Conquest has a 100% waterproof SPC core warranted against water damage under normal use, so full bathrooms, powder rooms, and laundry areas are all suitable. It floats over the subfloor, so spills and mopping never reach a swelling layer.
Can I install Conquest in a basement?
Yes — Conquest is rated for below-grade floating installation, and the dimensional stability of its rigid stone core suits finished basements. Follow the manufacturer’s subfloor-flatness and acclimation guidance for the best result.
Can I install Conquest myself?
Conquest uses a Unilin 5G angle-lock that clicks together as a floating floor — no glue or nails — so it’s DIY-friendly over a clean, flat, dry subfloor. Because the pad is already attached, you don’t add a second underlayment (doing so can void the warranty).
How many boxes will I need?
