Smart Collection is Lago’s entry-tier SPC line — a 6mm rigid-core build with a 12 mil wear layer, for budget-driven rooms that still want a waterproof, click-together floor. Like the rest of the SPC Plus range, it ships with a pre-attached 1.5mm acoustic pad and locks together with a Uniclic® angle-and-snap system, in 9″ x 60″ planks. The 4 colors run mostly warm, from very light blonde through medium beige and light brown, plus one cool light gray. FloorScore and GREENGUARD certified, lifetime residential warranty, available to order through our Santa Clara showroom.

How is Smart Collection different from Lago’s other SPC lines?

It’s Lago’s lighter-duty, entry-tier SPC build — 6mm total with a 12 mil wear layer, versus the 20 mil wear layer on the Scratch Shield and Ultra Clean collections. It carries the same pre-attached pad, Uniclic® click system and warranty terms.

Is Smart Collection waterproof?

Yes, the core resists mopping and everyday spills. It isn’t a moisture barrier, so the subfloor beneath still needs to be dry, and flooding or standing-water damage isn’t covered under warranty.

Can I install this floor myself?

Yes — it’s a floating floor. Click the planks together over the pre-attached pad without glue or nails, keep a 1/4″ expansion gap at the walls, and confirm the subfloor is clean, dry and flat to within 3/16″ over 10 feet.

What’s the warranty on Smart Collection?

A lifetime residential limited warranty, plus 10 years for commercial settings, covering manufacturing defects, wear-through and moisture damage from normal spills. Flooding and improper installation aren’t covered.
