What’s the difference between Lago’s SPC and laminate collections?

Scratch Shield, Ultra Clean and Smart Collection are stone-polymer composite (SPC) — a rigid mineral core under a resilient wear layer. AquaPro and AquaProMax are waterproof laminate, built on an AC4-rated waterproof core. Both constructions ship with a pre-attached acoustic underlayment and a Uniclic® click system, and both are certified to FloorScore and GREENGUARD.

Can I install Lago flooring in a kitchen or bathroom?

Yes. Every Lago collection is built on a waterproof core that resists damage from mopping and everyday spills. It isn’t a moisture barrier, though, so the subfloor underneath still needs to be dry before you install.

Can I install Lago flooring myself?

Most confident DIYers can. Lago planks float — no glue or nails — and click together with a Uniclic® angle-and-snap system over the pre-attached underlayment. Leave a 1/4″ expansion gap at the walls and confirm your subfloor is clean, dry and flat to within 3/16″ over 10 feet before you start.

What’s Lago’s warranty?

The SPC collections — Scratch Shield, Ultra Clean and Smart Collection — carry a lifetime residential / 10-year commercial limited warranty. AquaPro and AquaProMax carry a lifetime residential / 10-year light-commercial limited warranty. Both cover manufacturing defects, wear-through and moisture damage from normal spills, but not flooding or improper installation.
