What is Pure Oak?

Pure Oak is a rigid, wood-look WPC floor in a soft greige tone, with a thick, high-traffic wear layer for a durable, easy-care finish.

Is it waterproof?

Yes — 100% waterproof. Pure Oak handles pet accidents, water-bowl spills, and tracked-in mud wiped up promptly without swelling. Clean up standing water quickly. Not approved for outdoor installation.

How durable is it, and what traffic can it take?

The flooring uses a 20 mil wear layer — equivalent to 0.51 mm — a good match for heavy residential use and many light-commercial applications, so you get excellent protection against everyday scratches, scuffs, and abrasion. It runs noticeably thicker than the entry-level wear layers.

Will it hold up to daily life?

Pure Oak's 20 mil wear layer and finish resist scratching and scuffing over years of use. It wipes clean with a vinyl-safe cleaner and a damp mop, and keeps the printed grain reading consistent across the floor.

What does the plank surface look like?

Up close the pure oak surface is calm and orderly: fine straight grain lines run the full length of each board, with only a single faint cathedral arch rising once to break the run. There are very few character marks and no knots at all, so the plank reads clean and consistent rather than rustic. The wood-grain print gives you a light warm-beige field with just enough figure to avoid looking flat, and because the pattern stays quiet, one board flows into the next without a busy seam. It is a surface for people who want the look of wood-grain without much movement in it.

Quiet enough upstairs or in a condo?

There's no separate underlayment to buy and no pad to choose. Pure Oak's factory-attached acoustic pad comes bonded to every plank and dampens footfall noise throughout the home — one less material decision and one less install step.

Yes — Pure Oak carries GREENGUARD Gold certification, independently tested for low chemical emissions. That matters most for households with allergies, asthma, or young children.

Will this color work in my room?

Pure Oak reads its truest in bright, natural side light like the midday sun that crossed the room it was shot in, where the warm cast lifts and the greige leans soft and sandy rather than cool. Against bright white walls it stays clearly warm, which keeps a pale floor from tipping toward grey or looking sterile. In a darker or north-facing room the same pure oak deepens a shade and turns a touch more taupe, still warm but quieter. It pairs easily with black metal, natural cane, and off-white, a light neutral that works under almost any palette you bring into the room.
